Experience Summary

At Georgia Tech, serves as the Associate Laboratory Director of the Electro-Optics, Environment and Materials Laboratory.  Responsible for the operations of the Laboratory concerning budgets, personnel, facilities, and program development.  Has been a major contributor in technical matters related to the safety and health assistance program offered by Georgia Tech to industry.  Has done considerable work in building design in conformance with the Life Safety Code and in the evaluation of manual material handling tasks.  Has also worked with local government officials to develop emergency preparedness plans.  Has also done considerable work in developing and evaluating the effectiveness of loss control programs.


Current Fields of Interest

Industrial health hazards; catastrophe exposures in industry and business; fire-life safety; loss control programs.
