Getting to EOSL
EOSL is in the Baker Building on the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta; however, all visitiors must check in with building security at the front desk of the Centennial Research Building. Both are conveniently reached by the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). For information about MARTA, visit their Web site, especially their how to ride MARTA page. Building Access
During normal office hours (8am - 5pm) all campus building with main entrances will be open for access by approved card holders and visitors. After hours, access to buildings will be by card holder with pin number. No visitors will be allowed in the buildings after normal duty hours unless they have been processed through the Centennial Research Building (CRB) Command Center and escorted by an authorized badge holder. During normal business hours, a building attendant will be on duty in the following buildings, CRB, Baker, and ERB. They will monitor access to their areas and process all visitors.
Deliveries to EOSL
The Delivery Services area of Support Services is responsible for incoming and outgoing shipments throughout GTRI. This includes the receipt and delivery of supplies and equipment from vendors and sponsors. Delivery Services is also responsible for shipping materials and equipment to vendors and sponsors as needed. Incoming shipments are carefully inspected for any visible damage and outgoing packages are checked for appropriate packaging. If the packaged item is sufficient, we will probably prepare it for transport before it leaves the facility. Since the events of 9/11, all deliveries shipped to GTRI should be processed through Delivery Services.

Delivery Services: Always include the recipient's complete name. Please do not use initials or nicknames. Always include the correct department or building. Classified documents cannot be delivered by Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) Delivery Services. Contact the Research Security Department (RSD) for assistance in this area. Shipping and Receiving: Incoming shipments are routed through the Delivery Services to faciliate delivery and to ensure that proper delivery records are maintained. Delivery Services personnel deliver merchandise to the appropriate laboratory or department as indicated on the Material Request (MR) form.

Furniture Deliveries: After the initiation of a request for furniture, the work order generated by the Help Desk is transmitted to Delivery Services for processing. Any special needs associated with the delivery of new furniture, such as preparations or removal of existing furniture, should be mentioned in the original request.
