The Electro-Optical Systems Laboratory (EOSL) at GTRI defines EO systems research and development of the 21st century through education, modeling, analysis, design, integration, and prototype development of technology.


We conduct research in broad areas involving electro-optical systems, including remote sensing, EO modeling and analysis, integrated sensing systems, optical device technology, LIDAR system design and measurement, microelectronics, nanotechnology, solid state lighting, performance support systems, mobile and wireless solutions, sensor data collection and analysis – and even education.
