The Environmental Safety and Occupational Health (ESOH) Resource Center works to faciliate compliance with federal and state environmental regulations among local and state organizations, businesses and government. ESOH improves access to materials, provides expertise and connects constituents together through partnerships and networking.
Center Resources
The center oversees programs in compliance, environmental emergency response and occupational safety and health issues. It bridges the communications gap between constantly-updated government regulations and Georgia business, industry, community organizations, and individuals.
Georgia Environmental Compliance Assistance Program
GECAP is a non-regulatory program offering free and confidential environmental compliance assistance to Georgia businesses. GECAP provides environmentally-related technical assistance targeted to small and mid-sized companies. Learn more about GECAP at its website, gecap.org.
Environmental Emergency Response
ESOH consults on environmental emergencies. It identifies critical problems and provides references for contractors with the skills and expertise appropriate to each case.
OSHA Program
ESOH also provides consulting services for occupational safety and health issues. Our program aids small businesses to stay current and compliant with the complex regulations for the workspace.
